The College of Bio-X, Huazhong Agricultural University, focuses on research areas including mining of gene resources with great breeding value for biological breeding, chassis technologies for intelligent design of biological germplasms, breeding of green and high-yield crop varieties, and development of high-performance, high-quality livestock, and aquatic varieties. The college integrates high-quality teaching, high-level scientific and technological innovation, and development of high-caliber talent teams. Its vision is to build a globally recognized for independent cultivation of top-tier innovative talents in biological breeding, a key source of theoretical and technological innovation for global food security, and an internationally influential center for exchange and cooperation in biological breeding. 二、岗位职责 Responsibilities

(一)领军人才Leading Talents

1.把握学科前沿，制定中心或方向发展战略规划

1.Identify frontiers or directions in the discipline and formulate strategic development plans for the center.

2.组建并领导高水平研究团队，承担国家或国际重大科研任务

2.Build and lead high-caliber research teams, and undertake national or international research projects.

3.产出国际领先的原创成果，推动关键技术突破与成果转化

3.Conduct world-leading original research, and drive key technological breakthroughs and the translation of research outcomes.

4.推动生物育种与数学、物理、化学等学科的交叉融合

4.Promote interdisciplinary integration between biological breeding and mathematics, physics, chemistry and other disciplines.

5.培养青年人才，参与平台建设与国际合作

5.Mentor young researchers and establish research platform and international cooperation.

(二)优秀青年人才Outstanding Young Talents

1.作为独立PI开展基础前沿领域、交叉领域的科学研究，产出国际一流的原创成果

1.Conduct scientific research in frontier basic and interdisciplinary fields as an independent PI, producing world-class original research.

2.开展教育科技人才一体化改革，培养拔尖创新人才

2.Contribute to the integrated reform of education, scienceand technnolgy and talent development, and cultivate top-tier innovative talents.

3.参与平台中心建设与国际合作交流

3.Participate in the development of centers and platforms, as well as international exchange and collaboration.

三、申请条件Qualifications

(一)遵守中华人民共和国法律法规，具有良好的科学道德，认同我校价值文化追求。

(i) Comply with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, demonstrate sound scientific integrity, and align with the university's values and cultural aspirations.

(二)申请领军人才应具有国内/国际一流大学、学科或研究机构终身教职或同等资历，在相关研究方向具有国际公认的学术影响力，具备领军团队、组织重大项目和跨学科合作能力;申请优秀青年人才应具有国内/国际一流大学、学科或研究机构工作(含博士后研究)经历，产出了国际一流研究成果。

(ii) Applicants for Leading Talents should hold a tenured faculty position or equivalent at top-tier universities, disciplines, or research institutions world-wide, have internationally recognized academic reputation in the relevant research directions, and demonstrate the ability to lead teams, organize big projects, and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration. Applicants for Outstanding Young Talents should have work experience (including postdoctoral research) at world-wide top-tier universities, disciplines, or research institutions, and have produced world-class research outcomes.

(三)具有生物育种、人工智能、基因编辑、合成生物学、动植物遗传育种等经验者优先。

(iii) Preference will be given to candidates with experience in biological breeding, artificial intelligence, gene editing, synthetic biology, plant and animal genetics and breeding,or related fields.

四、薪酬与支持Salary and Support

(一)职业发展：聘为教授或者研究员，纳入校内人才计划支持体系。

(i) Career Development: Appointed as Professor or Researcher, and involved in the university’s internal talent program support system.

(二)薪酬待遇：一人一议，提供有竞争力的薪酬、充足的科研经费与研究生指标、良好的工作条件。以团队形式引进的，提供团队启动经费及资源支持。

(ii) Compensation and Benefits: Will be negotiated on an individual basis, with competitive remuneration, ample research funding and graduate student quotas, and excellent working conditions. Established research teams recruited as a whole, team-level start-up funding and resource support will be provided.
